The Best Steak Marinade

London Broil as fancy as it sounds is a perfect week night dinner. You an marinade it earlier in the day, and put in the oven before dinner time. You can use the steak for sandwiches, and salads later in the week.

ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped

  • kosher salt

  • pepper

  • fresh rosemary

instructions

1.     Whisk together the first 5 ingredients.

2. Make sure you pat the london broil dry, then place in a shallow baking dish. Sprinkle salt and pepper generously on both sides. Or you could place it in a large ziploc bag and pour the marinade over top.

3. Cover dish or close bag and place in the fridge to marinate up to four hours or overnight. When you are ready to cook, take the london broil out of the fridge for a couple of minutes to allow it to come to room temperature.

4. Preheat the broiler to high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and put on a baking sheet. Broil for 5-6 minutes and then flip to the other side and broil for 3-4 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 125 for medium rare.
