Honey Garlic and Peperoncini Chicken Thighs
I first made this chicken dish back in March, and my family has not stopped requesting it since then. Keep in mind it is the following June that I am finally writing this recipe!
The chicken thighs are incredibly juicy and the sauce thickens as it cooks in the oven. The peperoncini peppers give a subtle heat that is mellowed further by the addition of honey. It is sweet, sour, briny, garlicky, and just all around ALL the things as they say. It comes together in minutes but people will be talking about this dish for days to come.
This recipe also uses minimal ingredients which makes it budget friendly, especially with using chicken thighs. This recipe uses boneless but you can use bone in. You would most likely need to adjust the cooking time and leave in a bit longer.
This recipe is also part of the video series, Conversations at the Kitchen Sink that lives on the GLU network. It is a free app that you can download on samsung or apple tv, using fire or roku. There are a bunch of ways to watch! This episode has a great salad recipe as well. Bonus, all episode also include a devotional talk because you know I can’t miss out on an opportunity to encourage you!
